Heliamphora, or sun pichers, just might be one of the most attractive carnivorous plants out there! This is a hybrid of H. heterodoxa x minor, which has very nice "cherry" tops, and does aquire more red coloration under brighter conditions. Although it has relatively small pitchers (no larger than 1.25" opening), we recommend that it only be kept in vivaria where inhabitants are either larger or have no risk of getting caught inside them. As like all other carnivorous plants, good water quality is essential - distilled, RO, DI, or clean rain water only!
