All animals are shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight, and we are FedEx Certified shippers. We guarantee live arrival if the temperature on either end is between 40 - 80º F (and there is no courier mishandling, then any insurance will be covered by the courier). In all cases, the box will be insulated. If need be, we will include either a heat pack or cool pack to ensure a proper temperature environment within the box.
In instances in which an animal arrives deceased, please notify us within 4 hours of receiving them, providing photos. We will, in the cases outlined above, issue a refund for the cost paid of the animal (this does not include the cost of shipping).
If for any reason you are unsatisfied with an animal within a week of purchase, you may exchange the animal or return it to us, for a full reimbursement except the cost of shipping in both directions. Should the animal appear to be sick, we will happily refund you a percentage of the price on a case-by-case basis after you get an official diagnosis of a pre-existing condition by a licensed veterinarian. Please note: We do not cover any charges incurred by a veterinary visit.
All live plants are shipped depending on weather at our end and at the buyer's location. During hot summer months, we try to avoid shipping packages so that they will be in transit over the weekend. Occasionally, we will also include insulation and a cold pack, though this is purely circumstantial and packed at our discretion. In cold months, the buyer is responsible for selecting adequate expedited shipping. We do our best to pack in insulated boxes and include a heat pack. In extremely cold temperatures on either end, we will contact you before shipping! If a plant arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours!
Returns on live plants are limited - please contact us prior to initiating any shipment. Thank you!
We reserve the right to refuse a sale at our discretion.
We do not issue refunds for the cost of shipping should goods be returned, but we do actively attend trade shows nationwide and will happily accept a return in person to save on shipping costs!
At this time, please contact us for live animal international shipping. We do not currently ship plants outside of the US.
